The 2009 Honda Civic Type-R has come a long way from the first model that was first introduced in 1997. Running on a 2.0-liter four-cylinder twin-cam engine, with its patented i-VTEC camshaft switching device, the Type-R still proves that it is the top Civic model for Honda. It could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.6 seconds and has a combined fuel economy of 25.8 mpg. (U.S.). It may look like nothing has changed in the exterior of the Civic, but what matters most is what is under the hood. Check out these awesome specs!
