The very obvious change with the 2010 MazdaSpeed 3 is on the back end which has a large wing and on the front end which is described by car critics as a mean-looking hood-scoop. Other modifications, both on the inside or the outside of the car, are just slight, with the MazdaSpeed 3 appearing very much like the its usual self.
On the engine side, it is pretty much the similar engine used in the present MazdaSpeed 3 but with more refinement to boost its speed. A re-designed six speed manual transmission with wider gear ratio has been constructed to cater the needs of the revised motor. The overall engine and transmission arrangement will allow this latest MazdaSpeed 3 to attain a maximum speed of 155 mph.
Moreover, to improve the speed and dexterity of the 2010 Mazdaspeed3, Mazda has stripped away a number of amenities present on the normal Mazda 3. These consist of power driver’s seat, heated seats and moon roof.
