Ferrari F430
Wraps are growing into a popular choice for exotic car owners looking to give their rides a new look. Rather than repainting the entire car they are now doing this alternative strategy for their cars reinvention and redesign.
In this video, they used the Ferrari F430 Spider as an object to create these revolutionary matte-finish designs.
The Ferrari F430 is a sports car produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari from 2004 to 2009, as a successor to the 360. It debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. The F430 Spider is the convertible version based on the coupé. It is Ferrari’s 21st road going convertible and it looks quite similar to the Ferrari 360.
This mid-engine supercar goes parrallel with Lamborghini’s Gallardo Spyder, which is more powerful, but mostly regarded as slightly less capable on track. The F430 uses a 4.3-liter V8, while the Gallardo uses a 5.0-liter V10

Toyota’s Global Sales is at Its Highest Last October!
by admin on Jan.14, 2010, under News
The last quarter of the year 2008 had been terrible for the auto industry and for the world’s economy in general. Needless to say, Toyota Motors Corporation had not been an exemption to the negative upshots brought about by the said status of the financial system. It had also incurred great downturns in sales. Although, for the first two quarters up to the third quarter of the current year, the global sales of the car marque it showed signs of stability. Come October of this year, it showed 5% increase in the over-all worldwide sales which is equivalent to a total of 640,000 units sold for the month. This is in comparison with the sales that the Corporation had declared for the same month last year. Even if it had suffered a decrease of 3.5% in the U.S., it came back with good news from China and Japan where it reached the 45% and 15% increase respectively. Toyota executives had attributed this to the easier comparisons of car models released on the past years with the current models. There has not been any statement released yet if the Cash For Clunkers still has to do with the proliferation of sales in Japan which is still bound to continue up to the end of the year or so. Moreover, the end of the Cash for Clunkers in the United States might have caused the decrease in sales as well. That, however, is still an unguarded assumption.
2011 Honda CRZ: The sporty electric car
by admin on Jan.12, 2010, under News
In this day and age, more and more people are becoming aware of the global climate change. And all countries are affected by it. This is why people tend to make things a little bit earth-friendlier than before. This almost applies to the different technologies that humans use.
Even in the field of cars, manufacturers have come up with these so=called hybrid cars. Little by little and year after year, various car makers are introducing their very own hybrid car. This goes to show that sometime in the future, all of the cars will be battery-operated rather than the fuel that is slowly being depleted.
Honda has been known as one of the best car makers and they are proving themselves in the field of hybrid cars. It has now shown its Honda CR-Z concept at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show. And they are going to introduce it to the American market sometime in the year 2010. It can be described as sporty and it is fun to drive. Honda and Toyota now has tough competition and who could be the better hybrid car maker? We will find that out real soon.
Lower Carbon Emissions with Volvo’s CO2 counter
by admin on Jan.11, 2010, under News
Volvo Group has recently launched new application which serves as a personal C02-counter. It is called Commute Greener and it can be accessed through a website on the internet using a computer or a mobile phone. It gives the user the ability to see the how much carbon dioxide emissions are reduced or increased using different means of transportation such as bus, car, or bike.
A commuter can use the mobile phone to enter the means of transport that are used for commuting to and from work. The program calculates the carbon emissions using different modes of transportation helping the commuter decide which mode is best in helping the environment.
The City of Gothenburg in Sweden is the first city in the world to implement this service to its employees. This technology also provides online community where users can share experience.
Our tests have shown that individuals can quickly reduce their carbon dioxide emissions by more than 30 per cent using Commute Greener,” says Magnus Holmqvist at Volvo IT.
The city traffic office agrees that the new tool sets is a good example to the commuters in aligning with the city’s environmental objectives.
“Volvo has been working with environmental care since 1972. We now regard it as an important task to involve individuals,” says Niklas Gustavsson, Vice President Environmental and Public Affairs, AB Volvo.
This project is in line with the United Nation’s program on climate change initiative.
The program is presently available as an application to Iphone. To download the application to other mobile phones, a city, company or organization must first order access to the application for its inhabitants, customers or employees.
Why Buy a Hybrid Car?
by admin on Jan.08, 2010, under News
Care for the environment? Want to save the earth? Then you must think in terms of eco-friendly transport, non-polluting and fuel efficiency. A hybrid vehicle is designed to contain both the electric power and gasoline. It is one of the complex systems of car and has a lot of benefits.
Hybrid also referred as green cars, they are very effective because they have the ability to combine gasoline and electricity as a source of power. They help the environment by using less gasoline and releasing lower levels of dangerous emissions. Unlike conventional auto, hybrid car also is very quiet. It also shuts down when you came to a complete stop in order to save gas. This is very beneficial for those who drive in stop and go traffic.
If you ask how much money can you save on fuel costs when you buy a hybrid automobile, it always depends on a lot of factors including the cost of gas, how much you drive and the plan to keep your car. Like for example if you have Honda Civic Hybrid and you will compare it to a non-hybrid, at $2/gallon you’d save $100/year for every 10,000 miles.
Before you decide and say yes in buying a hybrid car, just make sure you do a little research about the pros and cons. Talk to the car expert , do a test drive and check which one would fit for your life-style. Some hybrids are best for city driving while others are more efficient on open roads.
Driving Tips for Teens
by admin on Jan.07, 2010, under News
Car crashes are one of the leading cause of death among 15-20 year olds. Parents are the one who responsible for their teen’s safety. Parents or any driving teachers should have patience and calm when teaching a teenager. They should also need to set limits while they gain some necessary experience and judgment behind the wheel.
Below are the things to help your driver teens to stay safe on the road:
Follow the Road Rules. Graduated licensing programs have been developed to benefit teen drivers. The program put restrictions on new drivers for a probationary period. During the probationary period the legal limit is zero-point-zero which means no alcohol when you drive. If they prove that they are good drivers then that’s the time they can now apply to remove these restrictions.
Slow Down. By slowing down and obeying speed limits you significantly reduce your chances of being in an accident. You should watch always your speed limit. Over 90% admit to not paying attention to speed limit signs at all. Inexperienced teens do not have the ability to control a car quickly when speeding, so the results are rollover accidents which are more common in teens.
Avoid Distractions. It is very important to pay full attention to the roadway while driving. Avoid using cell phones or any thing that can take your concentration off the road and impairs driving ability.
Don’t take too many passengers. Studies have shown that teens become more reckless when they are in a larger group. When there are many persons in a car teens have been more likely to speed, allow unlicensed peers to drive, take passengers without seat belts, and many unsafe behaviors. Limiting the number of persons in a car can save the teens life, do not let them with a group of teens.
Gasoline-Engine MiEV Will Be Coming to U.S
by admin on Jan.06, 2010, under News
MIEV (Mitsubishi In-wheel motor Electric Vehicle) or MiEV (Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle is the name given by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors to its alternative propulsion technologies. It was introduced in the Mitsubishi Colt EV, a Colt-based concept car first exhibited at 2005 Tokyo Motor Show which used a series of lithium-ion batteries to power electric motors located in the wheels.
This small urban electric car has a top speed of 130 kph (81 mph) and a range of 130 km (81 miles) or 160 km (99 miles), depending on the battery pack.
The most significant improvement inside this futuristic design is the replacement of the old nickel-metal hydride batteries in favor of the latest, state-of-the-art lithium-ion kind. It is lighter, smaller, and much more powerful.
It is said that the interior of the MIEV seems as quiet as a church and the scenery slips silently past. When you back out of a parking lot, you can hear yourself breathe.
And now, as its newest update, Mitsubishi considers giving its U.S. dealerships a gasoline version of its new i MiEV electric car. The Japanese automaker already has plans to import an electric-version of the car to the United States in approximately 18 months.
The automaker already sells a gasoline-powered version of the car, known as the I. In 2006, Mitsubishi sold 37,000 of its conventionally-powered I models in Japan and is now selling them in the U.K.
According to John Koenig, executive vice president for operations at Mitsubishi Motors North America, “By the time it reaches U.S., the car will be replaced with a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine without turbocharging,”
