Wraps are growing into a popular choice for exotic car owners looking to give their rides a new look. Rather than repainting the entire car they are now doing this alternative strategy for their cars reinvention and redesign.
In this video, they used the Ferrari F430 Spider as an object to create these revolutionary matte-finish designs.
The Ferrari F430 is a sports car produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari from 2004 to 2009, as a successor to the 360. It debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. The F430 Spider is the convertible version based on the coupé. It is Ferrari’s 21st road going convertible and it looks quite similar to the Ferrari 360.
This mid-engine supercar goes parrallel with Lamborghini’s Gallardo Spyder, which is more powerful, but mostly regarded as slightly less capable on track. The F430 uses a 4.3-liter V8, while the Gallardo uses a 5.0-liter V10
The interior of the Spider is identical to that of its coupe counterpart. And its innovative aerodynamics was sharpened to generate dynamic air flows to increase down-force and improve cooling.
Ferrari’s New Sensation: Ferrari 458 Italia
by admin on Nov.27, 2009, under News
Want the latest from Ferrari? Here it is, the all new Ferrari 458 Italia. This super car was intended as a replacement for the F430. Having a mid rear engine, the Italia will be powered by an all-new 4.5-liter direct-injection V8 that yields 570HP at 9,000 rpm and 398.2 lb-ft of torque (540Nm) at 6,000 rpm. Based on a car review, around eighty percent of this torque is available at a low 3,250 rpm.
Aside from these dazzling engine enhancements, the Italia has also been a project dictated by aerodynamic efficiency. Its aluminum frame and structure keeps weight under control. It only weighs around 3,000 pounds and claimed by Ferrari to generate 309 lbs (140kg) of down force at 124mph.
Moreover, its new V8 engine is equipped with its seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that channels power to the rear-wheels. This has been the highest output per liter in the history of the company’s production. The engine and transmission system triggers the super car from 0 to 62mph in less than 3.4 seconds and to a maximum speed of more than 202mph. This will be the first volume production Ferrari V8 to top the 200 mph barrier.
Another addition to this newest sensation is the so called “pre-fill function” as being described by the company itself. This is a feature of the Italia’s braking system whereby the pistons in the calipers shift the pads into contact with the discs on lift off to reduce delay in the brakes being applied. This results in a braking distance of a mere 106 feet from 62mph to a standstill.
Amazing isn’t it? Well, to know more about the Italia, you can watch some auto shows on different states in the country this November. It would really be nice to see this car which defies speed and gravity and uplifts Ferrari to another level.

The newest 458 Italia was described as the successor to the F430 and receives the name from both 4.5 liters and V8 engine. The name is a little different from the last two models 360 and 430; both saw a 3.6-liter and 4.3 liter engines. The current version is truly a fulfillment to Ferrari. With a 4.5-liter engine that produces 570 hp in 9000 rpm, a speed that would destroy the typical car engine. It has a 398 kg / m torque to 6,000 rpm with standard transmission of dual clutch. An impressive 12.5 compression is a wonderful engine that drives the 3042 sports car with 202 miles per hour.
As the last Ferrari cars, the Ferrari 458 Italia’s exterior style and features were arranged for aerodynamic efficiency and designed by the company named “Pininfarina”. The company beat and surpasses the same each time with some of the most beautifully designed cars for you to polish the highway and the racetrack while the car’s interior was designed using input from former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher.
So all in all, this vehicle is a real project and sketches an incredible and imaginative design, Formula One technology, and the wonderful performance that brings on the tradition of the Ferrari Company of producing some of the most desired automobiles in the world.
The start date of production and price of these 458 Italia has not officially announced but it was discovered and shown in 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show last September 15, 2009.
